The AI-driven cybersecurity startup Repello has successfully raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round. This round was led by Venture Highway, Pi Ventures, and Entrepreneur First, with contributions from prominent angel investors including Meta board member Charles Songhurst, Sarvam AI CEO Vivek Raghavan, and Satya Vas. The funds are earmarked for enhancing product capabilities, advancing research in offensive testing simulations, and expanding global outreach. Founded in 2024 by Aryaman Behera and Naman Mishra, Repello is dedicated to protecting generative AI platforms from evolving threats. While its development and innovation teams are located in Bengaluru, its commercial operations are based in San Francisco. Repello’s flagship product, ARTEMIS, is designed to perform large-scale simulated attack scenarios across text, visual, and audio layers to identify vulnerabilities in GenAI systems. Additionally, the startup offers Repello Guard, a live security framework that monitors AI models during deployment to detect threats such as prompt injections, inappropriate content, and sensitive data leaks. With North America being its most active market due to rapid AI adoption, Repello is also gaining traction in the Middle East, highlighting its growing international presence.
