Orange Maroc has entered into a strategic partnership with Ericsson to modernize and expand its network in preparation for the arrival of 5G Standalone. This initiative aligns with the Morocco Digital 2030 strategy, which aims to deliver ultra-high-performance connectivity. By integrating advanced technologies such as Ericsson’s dual-mode 5G Core and Cloud Native Infrastructure Solution, Orange Maroc will enhance its network capacity while improving the customer experience. The agreement also includes the use of the Ericsson Cloud Core Policy Controller to ensure high network scalability and resilience. Additional IP Multimedia Subsystem sites and Ericsson Packet Core deployments will be implemented to bolster VoLTE services and provide reliable 4G and 5G services. The modernization efforts also encompass enhancements in cloud infrastructure automation and orchestration. This partnership underscores Orange Maroc’s commitment to delivering a robust network that meets the growing digital needs while supporting the country’s digital transformation.
