Orange Maroc has partnered with Ericsson to modernize and expand its network infrastructure, paving the way for the deployment of 5G and supporting the Morocco Digital 2030 plan. This ambitious initiative incorporates Ericsson’s cutting-edge technologies, including dual-mode 5G Core architecture and a cloud-native infrastructure. The goal is to create a robust, scalable, and automated network to meet the growing digital demand.

The innovations include the Ericsson Cloud Core Policy Controller, the expansion of VoLTE capabilities with new IMS and Packet Core sites, and the enhancement of 4G and 5G services, such as mobile broadband, fixed wireless access, cloud gaming, and industrial connectivity.

Hendrik Kasteel, CEO of Orange Maroc, emphasizes the operator’s commitment to providing a powerful and reliable network that meets the needs of Moroccans and strengthens its role in the country’s digital transformation. Majda Lahlou Kassi, President of Ericsson Morocco, celebrates this agreement as the result of over two decades of collaboration, aiming to establish a resilient and sustainable network.

This partnership reaffirms Orange Maroc’s ambition to remain at the forefront of technological innovation and actively contribute to Morocco’s digital growth.
