Samsung is gearing up to introduce a revamped version of Bixby with the release of One UI 8.5, as seen in a recent leak. This updated Bixby, expected to debut with the Galaxy S26, showcases a modern interface and innovative features. Users can activate Bixby by long-pressing the power button, revealing a floating text box at the screen’s bottom for inquiries. It utilizes Perplexity to source information online, with search results accessible through a dedicated button. The app can be expanded to full screen, exhibiting a design reminiscent of ChatGPT and Gemini, complete with a text box and navigation menu. However, unlike its counterparts, the new Bixby lacks the ability to access the screen or camera feed, features that allow for image uploads and screen sharing in other platforms.
