Apple’s development of the iPhone extends several years ahead, with the company actively collaborating with suppliers on future models. The iPhone 17 series, expected in September 2025, is already surrounded by exciting rumors. Among the anticipated features are a significantly thinner “iPhone 17 Air” model, a return to aluminum frames for all models, and a redesigned camera system for the Pro versions. Display sizes are expected to increase, and ProMotion technology might expand to all models, allowing for smoother visuals and an always-on display. The Pro models could incorporate an Apple-designed Wi-Fi 7 chip, a 48MP Telephoto lens, and 8K video recording capabilities. A 24MP front camera is expected across all models, alongside a more scratch-resistant anti-reflective display. Improved memory, a narrowed Dynamic Island, and a new A19 processor are also rumored. The lineup might feature a vapor chamber for better thermal management and reverse wireless charging for Pro models. Additionally, larger batteries and support for up to 50W wireless charging are anticipated. New color options, including purple and green for the base model and Sky Blue for the Pro, are also in the works.
