What are the leaked details of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge?

Over the past two years, Samsung has consistently released new models in its Galaxy Book series, known for its flagship Windows OS laptops. This lineup typically includes four versions: the standard, Pro, Ultra, and Edge models. While the first three utilize x86-based Intel processors, the Edge model is distinct, featuring ARM-based Qualcomm Snapdragon X chipsets.

Earlier in the year, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship lineup, the Galaxy Book 6 series, featuring the base, Pro, and Ultra models. However, the Edge variant was notably absent, with expectations for its later release. Recent leaks have now surfaced, shedding light on the design and specifications of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge.

The Galaxy Book 6 Edge is set to be available in a single screen size of 16 inches. This is a change from its predecessor, the Galaxy Book 5 Edge, which had a 15.6-inch display, and the Galaxy Book 4 Edge, which offered both 14-inch and 16-inch options.

The 16-inch display of the Galaxy Book 6 Edge is expected to be an AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits of brightness. It reportedly lacks touch functionality but features a matte finish to reduce glare.

Powering the Galaxy Book 6 Edge is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X2 Elite X2E-88-100 processor, boasting 18 CPU cores (12 prime cores and 6 performance cores) with clock speeds reaching up to 4.7GHz. Samsung plans to offer two configurations: one with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, and another with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The laptop is equipped with a 61.8kWh battery, promising up to 22 hours of battery life. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB Type-C 4.0 ports, a USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. Weighing 1.55KG and measuring 12.3mm in thickness, the laptop comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed.
