Samsung is set to unveil two foldable phones in July, with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 featuring a triple-camera system akin to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. In contrast, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide will sport a dual-camera setup on its rear. Recent insights reveal that the primary wide-angle camera will come with an F1.8 aperture lens, while the ultrawide camera will have an F1.9 aperture lens, both likely equipped with autofocus and capable of recording 8K video at 30fps. Additionally, the device will house two 10MP front-facing cameras—one on the cover display and another on the foldable inner display. Users seeking enhanced selfies can utilize the 50MP rear cameras. With this camera configuration, it’s anticipated that Samsung might price the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide more affordably than the standard model, which will include a dedicated telephoto camera. The signature color for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide has been revealed as Dark Green, though it will be available in other color options as well.
