Is the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s One UI 8.5 update available globally?

Samsung has initiated the global rollout of a new software update for the Galaxy Z Flip 7, starting with Europe. This update introduces the stable version of One UI 8.5, based on Android 16 QPR2, and is identified by firmware version F766BXXU9BZDP. Other regions are expected to receive the update in the coming days, and users can check its availability by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Upon installing One UI 8.5, users will notice a refreshed user interface that many find cleaner and more sophisticated. The update enhances the customizability of the Quick Panel and introduces a floating bottom bar in most Samsung apps. Additionally, the update brings several new features, including support for Apple AirDrop, facilitating easier file exchanges with Apple devices. Other improvements include enhanced Bluetooth Auracast support, Bixby with Perplexity integration, improved Call Screening, and Storage Share functionality.
