Will the Galaxy S27 Ultra miss Samsung’s latest camera tech?

The Galaxy S27 Ultra may not feature Samsung’s most advanced camera technology, as the company often employs a conservative strategy with its flagship devices. Instead of equipping its own models with the latest innovations, Samsung tends to use Chinese smartphones as testing grounds for new tech. Current rumors indicate that the Galaxy S27 Ultra could be equipped with the ISOCELL HP6 sensor, a 200 MP, 1/1.3-inch sensor developed specifically for flagship devices. Additionally, Samsung might replace the 3X 10MP telephoto camera with a larger sensor offering greater magnification. Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X10 Ultra is still over a year away, following the recent announcement of the X9 in China. The Vivo X500 Ultra could be the next Chinese smartphone to feature the new HPA LOFIC sensor, but confirmation is still pending.
