How will the Hajj and Umrah digital challenge enhance pilgrim services?

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Riyadh has initiated a Tech Challenge aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and innovators to enhance Hajj and Umrah services. This initiative, led by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship, focuses on three key areas: smart crowd management, pilgrim experience, and language and communication technologies. Participants are encouraged to create solutions that improve service efficiency, streamline the pilgrim journey, and enhance communication among stakeholders. The challenge seeks to engage over 85 participants, develop more than 30 prototypes, and offer 30 training and mentorship sessions. The process includes registration, selection, a business model development week, a training bootcamp, technical support, and ongoing mentorship, culminating in the announcement of three winning projects. Participants will receive support in business model development, access to sector entities, collaboration with mentors, advanced training, and exposure to future technology trends. Interested individuals can register on the CODE website.
