Has the ‘Whispering Bird’ AI tool been launched for small Thai shops?

Thailand has introduced “Nok Krasip,” or “whispering bird,” an AI-driven assistant aimed at aiding small merchants in managing sales, costs, and profits via the Thung Ngern (Money Bag) app. The initiative, part of the government’s push under Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, seeks to empower small entrepreneurs by integrating artificial intelligence into shop management. Available from June 1, 2026, the assistant is tailored for shops involved in the “Thais Help Thais Plus 60/40” program, providing streamlined access to crucial business data and enhancing operational efficiency. “Nok Krasip” acts as an AI chatbot, offering guidance on the Thais Help Thais Plus scheme and navigating the Thung Ngern app’s features.
