Apple has unveiled that iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27 are now available for developers in beta form, with public betas expected in July. The full software updates are scheduled for release in the fall, likely September, although no exact date has been provided. The newly enhanced “Siri AI” is included in the developer betas for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and visionOS 27, and will later be available on the Apple Watch with a future watchOS 27 beta. Public betas featuring “Siri AI” will also launch in July. This updated version of Siri, which requires devices compatible with Apple Intelligence, will be rolled out to all users with suitable devices later this year, though it will remain in “beta” even upon its official launch. Initially previewed in 2024, “Siri AI” boasts improved personal context understanding and on-screen awareness, allowing it to search messages, emails, photos, and more, and perform tasks across apps with expanded systemwide actions. An all-new Siri app will be available on iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27, offering users a dedicated space to engage with the enhanced assistant.
