Can Samsung’s AI check your pet’s health with just a photo?

Pets hold a special place in our hearts, and ensuring their well-being is a priority. Soon, Samsung phones will offer a new way to monitor their health. The tech giant has unveiled a solution that allows pet owners to assess various health conditions using just a photo. This innovation was showcased at VivaTech 2026, Europe’s premier startup and tech event, where Samsung demonstrated its Connected Care Ecosystem. This ecosystem integrates Galaxy devices with the Samsung Health platform to promote proactive wellness management. The new pet care feature enables users to detect potential health issues at home, thanks to a partnership with pet health management solution Lifet. By simply capturing a photo with a Galaxy device, users can leverage artificial intelligence to identify signs of health concerns such as dental issues, patellar luxation, and cataracts.
