Is Apple Testing New Products with iOS 28?

iOS 28 is not yet available to the public, and iOS 27 is still in its initial developer beta phase, but Apple is already testing four new products with an internal version of iOS 28. Among these are the highly anticipated 20th anniversary iPhone, which will come in two sizes reminiscent of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max models. This special edition is rumored to feature an edge-to-edge display with curved glass on all sides, offering a nearly borderless appearance. Also in the lineup is the second-generation foldable iPhone, a successor to Apple’s first folding smartphone, expected to be launched this fall. Additionally, Apple is working on camera-equipped AirPods, marking the company’s first wearable AI product. These AirPods will have cameras in their stems that provide environmental information to Siri, with an indicator light to signal when the cameras are active. All four products are anticipated to debut in late 2027, coinciding with the release of iOS 28, though the exact timing may still change.
