Samsung Display has unveiled its most advanced smartphone OLED to date: a 10,000-nit OLED panel built on M16 OLED material that can reach a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits.
Samsung’s own phones will not be the first to feature the new panel; the display has already debuted in the latest iPhone 18 Pro series and the iPhone Duo.
10,000-nit OLED and M16 material
The panel uses M16 OLED material and is described by Samsung Display as its most advanced OLED screen for smartphones, capable of a peak brightness of up to 10,000 nits.
