Aeon has extended its seed funding to more than €12m and acquired German blood diagnostics platform Aware Health. The Zurich-based company previously raised €8.2m in June 2025.
Aeon’s integrated screening approach
Aeon combines whole-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), blood diagnostics and genetic risk analysis with AI designed to identify health trends and predict individual risks. The company says its MRI scans can detect more than 500 possible anomalies across the brain, organs and blood vessels. Its blood testing covers more than 100 biomarkers, measurable biological indicators that can provide information about health.
Acquisition of Aware Health
The acquisition gives Aeon Aware Health’s technology platform, key contracts and equipment, customer relationships and core team.
Tim Seithe, founder and chief executive of Aeon, said: “We are redefining preventive care by shifting it from reaction to action. Imaging tells you where you are.
“Blood diagnostics tell you where you are heading. AI is what connects the two into prediction.
“The acquisition of Aware Health accelerates that vision by two years, and this round gives us everything we need to execute.”
Aeon was founded in 2023 and has been operating in Germany since early 2026. The company says more than 90 per cent of its check-ups already identify findings that customers can act on, with a significant finding rate of 15.4 per cent.
The seed extension was co-led by Araya Ventures, with participation from existing investors Concentric, GoHub Ventures, Kadmos Capital, Calm/Storm Ventures, N&V Capital and Bigwave Capital.
Rupa Popat, founding and managing partner at Araya Ventures, said: “Aeon is building something genuinely new in European healthcare.
“The combination of imaging, recurring blood diagnostics, and AI creates a longitudinal health picture that no other platform in Europe offers. We are proud to back Tim and the team at this moment.”
