Samsung has begun rolling out One UI 9.0 to the Galaxy S26 series in Korea on September 16, and a Samsung Thailand newsroom post lists dates that may indicate wider global rollouts for additional Galaxy models.
One UI 9 release timing
The update started in Korea on September 16 after months of beta testing. According to Samsung Thailand’s announcement, the Galaxy S26 series is scheduled to receive One UI 9.0 in Thailand on September 21, a date the post says could apply to regions beyond South Korea. The Thailand post is more detailed about timing than other Samsung portals.
Device-specific dates listed by Samsung Thailand
Samsung Thailand’s newsroom item also lists September 28 as a date when the Galaxy S26 series, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will receive One UI 9.0. The same post states that the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to get One UI 9.0 by October.
No other Samsung portal provided the same level of date detail, so it is possible these timings apply globally or are specific to Thailand; the company’s post presents the dates confidently but they could still be subject to change. One UI 8 previously arrived a few days later outside Korea than in Korea, a pattern the Thailand dates would mirror if applied beyond that market.
