Samsung Wallet adds digital key support for select Cadillac EVs

Samsung Electronics America has confirmed that Samsung Wallet now supports digital keys for select General Motors vehicles in the United States and Canada. The rollout begins with select 2026 and 2027 Cadillac electric vehicles, including the 2025-2027 LYRIQ, 2026-2027 OPTIQ, and the 2027 VISTIQ.

Samsung Wallet digital key features

With the digital key enabled, Ultra-Wideband and Bluetooth Low Energy technology let a compatible device unlock the car door automatically as the owner approaches the vehicle, without touching the phone. The device will also automatically lock the car as the user walks away. Digital keys can be shared through the Samsung Wallet app to grant temporary access to other people.

Samsung Electronics America says Samsung Wallet digital key support will expand to additional Cadillac models by the end of this year.
