Is Gain set to revolutionize the workforce with AI ’employees’?

An Israeli startup, Gain, is pioneering a shift from automation to fully autonomous workforces by introducing “AI Employees.” Based in Tel Aviv, Gain has secured $12 million in Seed funding to launch software agents capable of managing procurement and operational tasks from start to finish. The funding round was led by The Garage, with contributions from BlueRed Partners and Bazan Group. Tempo Beer Industries is currently testing the technology. Unlike early AI tools that served as copilots, Gain’s AI system, featuring “Natalie” and “Bob,” operates independently, handling tasks such as strategy development, supplier negotiations, contract execution, and daily transactions. CEO Michael Gabay, who also founded Trigo, emphasizes that the goal is to address neglected tasks rather than eliminate jobs. The technology has been refined to outperform even seasoned professionals through rigorous testing. Gabay founded Gain with Dor Israeli, Elon Hait, and Jason Busch, bringing expertise from various high-tech sectors. The company aims to support teams by tackling unfinished work and delivering significant value, with positive pilot feedback encouraging further deployment.
