Perth is set to become the focal point for the artificial intelligence and robotics industry as it hosts the inaugural Indo-Pacific Robotics, Autonomy, AI and Cyber Conference (IPRAAC) from October 7 to 9, 2025. Building on the achievements of previous Indo-Pacific Space and Earth Conferences, this event will unite over 400 participants and more than 70 speakers from around the world to delve into the latest advancements in robotics, AI, autonomy, and cyber technologies. The conference aims to foster cross-sector collaboration and stimulate innovation across industries such as mining, space, energy, agriculture, defence, and emergency services. Notable speakers include Dr. John Blitch, Dr. S. Kate Conroy, Roger Hunter, Ed Lewis, Hirokazu Mori, Natasha Teakle, and Dr. Holly Yanco. Western Australia’s Science and Innovation Minister, Stephen Dawson, highlighted the significance of hosting such a prestigious event, emphasizing the state’s commitment to advancing technology and digital innovation in key sectors.
