Data Guardians Network (D-GN), a decentralized platform dedicated to transforming global human input into precise and ethically sourced training data for AI, has successfully raised US$5 million in a pre-seed funding round. This investment, spearheaded by Saudi entrepreneur Hamoud Al-Rumayyan, alongside Web3 infrastructure leader droppGroup and the experienced crypto firm Hub Culture, marks D-GN’s emergence from stealth mode and supports its international expansion.
D-GN is committed to enabling enterprises to develop trustworthy AI by collecting diverse and human-labeled datasets through a decentralized contributor model. Participants worldwide engage in data annotation tasks such as image classification, voice tagging, lip syncing, and human-emotion mapping, all within a gamified environment. In return, they earn rewards in the form of Tether’s USDT stablecoin. This approach not only provides alternative income opportunities for users globally but also results in AI datasets that are more accurate, diverse, and compliant with regulations.
With this funding, D-GN plans to enhance its contributor operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), Latin America, and Southeast Asia, aiming to establish itself as the world’s leading producer of ethical AI data.
