Detective Corporal Sean Roache of the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force recently participated in the 2nd Annual Artificial Intelligence Conference at the University of the West Indies in Antigua. As the sole police officer from the Caribbean, he proudly represented Vincentian interests in discussions on AI’s role in national development, crime prevention, and public safety. The conference gathered experts from various fields to explore AI’s potential in areas such as crime prediction, digital case management, and regional data governance. Roache also accessed global AI training resources and connected with leaders in justice reform and AI ethics.
