Jitty, a London-based AI-driven home search platform, has successfully secured $3.8 million in seed funding, with REA Group leading the round and acquiring a nearly 10% stake in the startup. Additional investment came from Goodwater Ventures, Gradient Ventures, True Global, and angel investors Joe Cross and Lenny Picardo. The funding will be directed towards internal growth and product development, with plans for international expansion on the horizon. REA Group intends to leverage Jitty’s technology for image search applications in Australia. Melina Cruickshank of REA Group expressed enthusiasm for Jitty’s innovative approach to property discovery, highlighting the startup’s rapid growth and potential to revolutionize the home-buying experience. Jitty’s CEO, Graham Paterson, emphasized the significance of the investment in accelerating the company’s mission and expanding partnerships. Utilizing advanced AI technologies, Jitty offers an intuitive, image-first search experience for home buyers, focusing on enhancing the buyer experience without charging estate agents for listings. Since its launch, Jitty has facilitated over 250,000 property searches and established partnerships with several real estate agencies. The company has been proactive in innovation, introducing numerous new features over the past two years.
