How does Galaxy S26 Ultra’s AI Flex Magic Pixel technology enhance screen privacy?

As Samsung continues to develop its 2026 Galaxy S26 flagship series, intriguing details are emerging about the Galaxy S26 Ultra. This model is set to feature Flex Magic Pixel technology, an AI-driven innovation designed to enhance screen privacy by limiting the viewing angle. This technology, which Samsung Display has been perfecting for some time, is now ready for mass production. Debuting at the Mobile World Congress 2024, Flex Magic Pixel uses AI to manipulate OLED pixels, creating a privacy film effect that makes screen content visible only to the user directly in front. Unlike traditional privacy films that can diminish brightness and image quality, this built-in technology promises optimal picture quality while safeguarding privacy. The Galaxy S26 Ultra will also incorporate Color Filter on Encapsulation (CoE) technology, which replaces conventional polarizing plates with printed color filters and a black PDL. This advancement results in thinner panels, improved light transmission, reduced power consumption, and enhanced color accuracy. Notably, the Galaxy S26 Pro and Edge models will not include these advanced features.
