Is /function1’s AI Conference and Exhibition Expanding This November?

After its initial launch in May 2025, /function1 is set to return this November with an expanded AI Conference and Exhibition in Dubai, further establishing the UAE as a leading center for artificial intelligence innovation. The inaugural event attracted significant attention both regionally and internationally, featuring over 40 speakers, 10 hours of discussions, and the UAE’s first major AI hackathon. This year’s conference promises an even broader agenda, with three stages of programming and a focus on transformative technologies across industries such as finance, cybersecurity, healthcare, smart cities, energy, and sustainability. Organizers anticipate over 10,000 attendees, including developers, founders, investors, regulators, and academics. A highlight of the event is the Founders Program, which will showcase more than 5,000 AI startups from around the globe, providing them with exposure and networking opportunities. Companies like AVM, Ignite AI, and Antal are already confirmed participants. The conference will also feature the next edition of AI Genesis, the largest AI hackathon in the Middle East, organized in collaboration with LabLab and NativelyAI. This competition will bring together over 4,000 developers for a week-long hybrid challenge, culminating in a live on-stage finale. Additionally, the new AI Futures Lab aims to engage university students in developing AI solutions for global issues, offering mentorship from industry and academic experts. Top projects will be presented at the conference. With a growing number of founders, developers, and investors heading to Dubai, /function1 is poised to conclude 2025 as one of the UAE’s premier events focused on the business and future of artificial intelligence. Entrepreneur Middle East, as the General Media Partner, is offering a limited number of complimentary curated passes to the conference, available on a first-come, first-served basis through the /function1 website.
