Is Samsung’s new keyboard the future of smart typing?

Samsung has unveiled a new wireless keyboard compatible with Galaxy laptops, phones, and tablets, as well as any Bluetooth-enabled device. This sleek, aluminum-built keyboard boasts a tenkeyless layout and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. It features a 19mm key pitch for a comfortable typing experience reminiscent of a laptop keyboard, though it lacks backlighting, which may pose challenges in low-light conditions.

A unique feature is its ability to switch between three paired devices with a dedicated key. It also includes a key for accessing AI functions, summoning Bixby or Google Gemini on Galaxy devices, and Microsoft Copilot on Windows machines. Additionally, it offers a shortcut for launching DeX.

The keyboard’s top row is equipped with media playback, volume, and Android UI navigation controls. Users can customize the F1, F2, and F3 keys as shortcuts to their favorite apps, with traditional function key operations accessible via the Fn key.

With dimensions of 280.3×111.5×4.3mm and a weight of 218.4g, the keyboard is powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery, promising long-lasting performance. The package includes the battery and an eject pin.
