Samsung is finalizing the distribution of the One UI 8.0 update to its eligible devices, with the Galaxy Tab A11 being the latest to receive the upgrade. This update introduces a host of new features to the budget-friendly tablet, which was launched just two months ago. The Galaxy Tab A11, now receiving the Android 16-based One UI 8.0 update in South Korea, comes with firmware version X133DXU1BYK3 for the Wi-Fi model and X135NKOU1BYK3 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model, including the October 2025 security patch. Users can initiate the update by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install, and then selecting Install now.
Initially launched with One UI 7.0, Samsung has committed to providing seven major Android OS updates for the Galaxy Tab A11, with One UI 8.0 being the first. Among the new features, users will find the Brief widget, Dynamic wallpapers, and enhanced multitasking capabilities. The update also introduces improvements to Samsung Notes with Sticky Notes, a redesigned Samsung Internet menu, and a more secure Secure Folder. Additionally, DeX sees significant enhancements inspired by Android 16’s Desktop Mode.
