A major artificial intelligence event commenced on Monday in Seoul, highlighting the latest advancements and trends in the AI sector. The AI Summit Seoul & Expo 2025, taking place over two days at Seoul’s COEX convention center, features participation from over 70 companies in the technology and AI industries, including notable names like Google Cloud, IBM, and KT. Key global figures, such as Wen Sang, co-founder of the AI agent Genspark, and Luc Julia, chief scientific officer of Renault Group, are set to share their insights on the present and future of the AI industry. The event also offers a “business connection session,” allowing participating companies to engage with around 50 visiting buyers. The initiative aims to bolster the application and expansion of AI technology, which has become a strategic industry for the country, with aspirations to establish the event as a leading global business platform for AI growth.
