Samsung is gearing up for its Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 at 7:30 PM IST, where it is anticipated to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Watch 8 series. Major design enhancements, a new 200MP camera, and a cost-effective Flip 7 FE model are among the expected highlights.
The event, taking place in New York, will be streamed live on Samsung’s official YouTube channel, accessible to viewers in India and worldwide. No registration is necessary; simply search for “Samsung Galaxy Unpacked July 2025” on YouTube at the scheduled time.
The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to be slimmer than previous models, potentially measuring 8.9mm when folded and 4.2mm when open, with an enhanced outer display. The standout feature might be a 200MP camera sensor, a first for this lineup. Meanwhile, the Z Flip 7 could feature a full-screen cover display without camera cutouts and may operate on Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip, diverging from the Snapdragon 8 Elite expected in the Fold 7.
Samsung might introduce a third foldable device, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, offering a more affordable option by trimming some features, similar to the Galaxy S series’ Fan Edition.
Additionally, the Galaxy Watch 8 series is likely to debut, possibly reintroducing the ‘Classic’ variant with a rotating bezel, reminiscent of last year’s Watch Ultra. Whether the Watch Ultra will see a new version or simply new colors remains uncertain.
Samsung has yet to officially confirm these details, so the livestream will be the definitive source. Tune in at 7:30 PM IST on July 9, or catch the replay on YouTube later.
