What new AI technologies has iFlytek launched in Hong Kong?

Chinese voice recognition company iFlytek has introduced a range of AI products in Hong Kong, establishing it as a hub for its global expansion. This move aligns with the company’s focus on developing its own computing infrastructure amidst tightened US chip restrictions. The international version of iFlytek’s Spark medical large language model, V2.5, is now available to medical organizations in Hong Kong, providing support for diagnosis and treatment in both Cantonese and English. Additionally, a local version of the Xiaoyi healthcare chatbot app has been launched for consumers. The company has also rolled out a smart blackboard for classrooms and a meeting transcription and translation solution that supports Cantonese, Putonghua, and English. Hong Kong is set to play a significant role in iFlytek’s medical AI initiatives, with its English-language medical data and internationally trained doctors contributing to the enhancement of the company’s medical LLM capabilities.
