What’s new at Samsung Unpacked 2025 in India?

Samsung is gearing up for its second Unpacked event of the year on September 4, 2025, where it will launch the Galaxy S25 FE and the Galaxy Tab S11 series. The event, which will be streamed live from 3:00 PM IST, comes just ahead of the IFA 2025 in Berlin and Apple’s iPhone 17 launch, making it a strategic move for the company.

The Galaxy S25 FE is set to be a more affordable version of the flagship S25 series, offering a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to feature either the Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e chipset, along with 8GB of RAM. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The device is also rumored to have a 4,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

On the tablet side, Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Tab S11 and Tab S11 Ultra, aimed at competing with Apple’s iPad Pro. The Tab S11 Ultra is expected to boast a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the Tab S11 will have an 11-inch AMOLED screen. Both models are anticipated to include the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Plus processor, with up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

A key theme of the event is the expansion of Galaxy AI, which aims to enhance the integration and functionality of Samsung’s devices. With these new launches, Samsung is not only updating its hardware but also focusing on AI-driven user experiences, setting the stage for an exciting season in tech.
