Apple is set to launch two significant iPhone models in 2027: the second-generation iPhone Air and the 20th-anniversary iPhone. The iPhone Air 2 is expected around March 2027, accompanied by the iPhone 18 and a budget-friendly iPhone 18e. Later, in September 2027, the 20th-anniversary iPhone is anticipated to debut, featuring a curved glass screen and an innovative under-display front camera.
Between late 2026 and early 2027, Apple plans to introduce several new iPhone models. In fall 2026, likely September, the lineup will include the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone. By spring 2027, the market will see the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and possibly the iPhone Air 2.
The iPhone Air 2 is rumored to feature enhancements such as a second rear camera, increased battery capacity, and a vapor chamber cooling system similar to the iPhone 17 Pro models. Despite low demand for the iPhone Air, Apple aims for it to constitute a modest percentage of new iPhone sales. The upcoming iPhone Air 2 is expected to incorporate a 2nm chip, promising improved performance and battery life.
