Has EMMA Systems Raised Seed Funding?

EMMA Systems, a Qatar-based AI-driven SaaS platform for airports and airlines, has successfully secured seed funding. The funding round was led by Plus VC, an early-stage venture capital firm from Abu Dhabi, with contributions from two prominent angel investors. Plus VC specializes in tech startups in the MENA region and offers initial seed investments, followed by additional funding up to Series A for top-performing companies.

The funds will be allocated to enhance EMMA’s AI-powered Total Airport Management platform, foster product innovation, and support its global expansion. Founded in 2020 by Wisam Costandi and Mohammad Hourani, EMMA Systems unifies real-time operational data for aviation stakeholders, integrating systems to boost efficiency, safety, and sustainability. The platform has already been implemented in international airports and airlines across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
