Will Kuwait host the first Gulf Red Crescent AI Conference?

Kuwait is set to host the inaugural Gulf Red Crescent Conference on Artificial Intelligence on October 22-23, 2025. This event signifies a pioneering effort to create a unified Gulf vision for utilizing AI in humanitarian efforts and fostering regional collaboration. Organized in partnership with the Secretariat General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), the conference will explore the theme “Towards New Horizons in Humanitarian Work and Development Media – Harnessing the Power of Artificial Intelligence.” Over two days, participants will delve into the role of AI in enhancing humanitarian and relief initiatives. The event will also see the launch of a Gulf digital initiative and a workshop dedicated to training media professionals in humanitarian and relief reporting. Topics will include crisis reporting, field coverage skills, and producing impactful digital humanitarian content.
