Apple is relocating its store in Downtown Montréal, with the new location set to open on Friday, January 16, at 10 a.m. The store will be housed in a historic building at the northeast corner of Rue Saint-Catherine and Rue de la Montagne. After extensive renovations, Apple is ready to unveil the new space in the heart of Montréal, Québec’s largest city. To mark the occasion, a custom wallpaper for Mac and iPhone is available for a limited time. In collaboration with local artist Catherine Potvin, special artwork will adorn the store’s facade until the grand opening. Shoppers on the opening day and the following day can receive a complimentary Apple Store bag featuring Potvin’s illustrations during specific hours. The previous Sainte-Catherine location, which opened in 2008, is nearby. Meanwhile, Apple is also reopening its Baybrook store in Friendswood, Texas, on the same day, following renovations.
