Was Max Verstappen’s personal data exposed in an F1 cybersecurity breach?

Hackers have accessed personal data of Formula One drivers, including Max Verstappen, following a cybersecurity breach at the FIA Driver Categorisation site. The breach, which occurred over the summer, compromised information such as passport numbers and personal contact details of nearly 7,000 drivers. FIA has taken steps to secure the data and reported the incident to data protection authorities. The breach was discovered by security researchers who accessed Verstappen’s CV, super-license, and passport. The FIA has since taken the site offline and implemented stronger cybersecurity measures. Verstappen is expected to address the issue during the Mexico City Grand Prix.
