How is Samsung collaborating with Mark Cuban to train kids in AI?

Samsung is investing over $29 million in technology and educational resources for US schools through its Solve for Tomorrow initiative, aiming to enhance science, technology, engineering, and math skills among students from grades 6 to 12. Recognizing the growing importance of artificial intelligence, Samsung has partnered with entrepreneurs Mark Cuban and Emma Grede to offer AI training and mentorship as part of the program. They plan to conduct an immersive AI bootcamp to help students and educators understand and embrace AI. Despite the critical role AI is expected to play in the future, 53% of teachers lack formal AI training, a figure that increases to 64% in less affluent schools. To address this gap, Samsung is collaborating with the Mark Cuban Foundation to provide free AI training resources to teachers nationwide, empowering them to integrate AI concepts into their teaching confidently.
