Will Samsung supply more OLED panels for the iPhone 17?

Apple has opted to source displays for its upcoming iPhone 17 series and iPhone Air from Samsung and LG, with Samsung taking the lead as the primary supplier, contracted to deliver approximately 80 million OLED screens. BOE initially secured a contract to supply a smaller batch of 10 million OLED screens but has encountered difficulties meeting the order. As a result, Apple plans to cover the shortfall by procuring these units from Samsung instead. Consequently, Samsung is now expected to provide a total of 90 million OLED display panels to Apple.
