At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, Samsung introduced the Freestyle+, the first true sequel to their Freestyle projector. Boasting a new design and innovative AI-powered features, the Freestyle+ can project perfectly on uneven surfaces and corners. Despite these advancements, there’s a sense that something crucial might be missing. The original Freestyle was known for its unique accessories, like a battery attachment for portability and a socket adapter for top-down projections, which significantly enhanced its versatility. However, the Freestyle+ presentation lacked any mention of new or compatible accessories, aside from a basic screen accessory. This omission raises questions about Samsung’s plans, as the projector is expected to hit the market in the first half of 2026. It’s uncertain whether new accessories will be announced later or if the original ones didn’t perform well enough in sales to warrant new versions.
