Is Samsung’s Q-Symphony tech expanding to Harman Kardon and JBL speakers?

At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026, Samsung showcased its latest innovations, including the new Micro RGB TV, the S95H OLED TV, Music Studio speakers, and the Family Hub Refrigerator. Among these, a significant development is the expansion of Samsung’s Q-Symphony technology to Harman Kardon and JBL audio devices. This advancement allows users to pair Samsung TVs with speakers and soundbars from these brands, offering more flexibility for multi-speaker setups at home. Most Harman Kardon and JBL wireless speakers set to launch in 2026 will feature Q-Symphony compatibility, likely through the integration of a specific chip. This move is facilitated by the fact that both audio brands are under Samsung Electronics. Looking ahead, Samsung may extend Q-Symphony compatibility to other audio brands it owns, following its recent acquisition of Sound United, which includes Boston Acoustics, Bowers & Wilkins, and others, bringing its total to 21 audio brands.
