Lucid Capital, a company founded in 2022 and based in the United Arab Emirates, has successfully completed a $2.5 million seed funding round aimed at enhancing its AI-driven trading platform. Specialising in algorithmic trading, Lucid Capital plans to use the funds to bolster its trading infrastructure and advance its AI research. The funding round was led by Tharawat Holding and Singular Link, with the investment directed towards expanding the company’s strategic capabilities and technology platforms. This initiative will facilitate the development of sophisticated AI models capable of adjusting trading frequency, responding to market fluctuations, and optimising real-time trade execution. Additionally, Lucid Capital has secured commitments amounting to $200 million from financial institutions and accredited investors to scale its strategies in the US equities and digital asset markets. The company’s technology employs autonomous AI agents and adaptive algorithms to navigate changing market conditions.
