Apple’s next-generation iPhone Air might still debut in the fall of 2026. While the iPhone 17e is reportedly in mass production for a spring launch, the iPhone Air 2’s release has stirred debate. Initially expected alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and a foldable model in fall 2026, the release was reportedly postponed to March 2027 due to poor sales of its predecessor. The upcoming iPhone Air is anticipated to feature enhancements such as a second rear camera, a reduced price, lighter design, vapor chamber cooling, and a larger battery. Although a fall launch next year remains possible if Apple accelerates development, many rumors suggest a delay is more likely.
