What new features can we expect from iOS 26?

With the unveiling of iOS 26 just around the corner at Apple’s WWDC keynote, anticipation is building for the latest iPhone update. This version promises a major redesign, marking the most significant changes since iOS 7. The focus is on creating a consistent user experience across iOS and macOS, with unified controls, icons, and interface dynamics. The redesign aims to simplify usage, speed up navigation, and make the system easier to learn.

In addition to the redesign, Apple Intelligence 2.0 is set to debut, bringing enhancements like upgraded Siri features, new third-party AI integrations, improved battery life through AI, and expanded AI capabilities in apps. Notable app updates include a new Games app, live translation with AirPods, and a revamped Health app featuring Apple Health+.

As always, iOS updates bring numerous changes to Apple’s system apps, with iOS 26 expected to offer more improvements than previously rumored. Among the anticipated features are a dedicated Games app, live translation in the Translate app, a new Health app with Apple Health+, and enhanced RCS capabilities in Messages.

While many details have leaked, Apple is likely to surprise us with even more innovations at WWDC, including updates to macOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and more. The tech community eagerly awaits these announcements to see how Apple will enhance the iPhone experience.
