Notable participants include Dex Hunter-Torricke, who has held senior communication roles at SpaceX, Facebook, Google, and Google DeepMind; Colin Jarvis from OpenAI; Amanda Brock; and Theo Blackwell. Under the theme “Intelligent Futures,” the festival aims to explore the impact of data and artificial intelligence on industries and society, focusing on trust, governance, and long-term effects. Paul McMillan, who manages community and events programs at The Data Lab, emphasized the importance of addressing AI’s capabilities alongside governance, trust, and long-term benefits.
