OpenClaw has integrated DeepSeek’s latest V4 Flash model as the default for its AI agent, amidst global scrutiny of the Chinese firm’s collaboration with Huawei. This update, announced on Sunday, expands OpenClaw’s offerings to include both DeepSeek’s V4 Flash and the advanced V4 Pro models, alongside new features like Google Meet integration. The V4 models, released by DeepSeek just days prior, are optimized for major AI tools including Anthropic’s Claude Code, OpenClaw, and Tencent’s CodeBuddy. Notably, the V4 Pro model boasts an impressive 1.6 trillion parameters, marking it as the company’s largest model to date, while the V4 Flash model contains 284 billion parameters. The collaboration with Huawei, which supports these models with its Ascend chips and supernode systems, highlights China’s advancements in AI hardware.
