Google is set to enhance the visibility of apps optimized for foldable phones and tablets. Four years after introducing Android 12L to better utilize larger screens, Google plans to introduce a badge in the Play Store for apps that are designed for big-screen devices. This initiative aims to assist users in identifying applications that maximize the use of additional screen space, potentially encouraging developers to create more apps tailored for larger displays. Although the new version of the Play Store is not yet available, the public changelog suggests its release is imminent.
