Samsung, a pioneer in stylus technology since 2011, may soon adopt features from Apple’s Apple Pencil Pro, released in 2015. The forthcoming Samsung S Pen is expected to function similarly to the Apple Pencil Pro, potentially eliminating the need for an electromagnetic digitizer layer in favor of capacitive and Bluetooth signal detection. This change would likely require a larger battery and might introduce Qi2.2 wireless charging capabilities. Additionally, the new S Pen could incorporate features like squeeze gestures, haptic feedback, and advanced brush control through gyroscopic technology, aligning closely with Apple’s offerings.
