LakeFusion, a company based in Austin, Texas, specializing in AI-driven master data management on the Databricks platform, has successfully raised $7.5 million in Seed funding. The financing round was primarily led by Silverton Partners, with additional investment from Carbide Ventures. Silverton Partners, an Austin-based venture capital firm, is known for supporting entrepreneurs in high-growth markets. With this new funding, LakeFusion plans to expand its engineering and marketing teams, enhance product development, and boost enterprise sales. Under the leadership of CEO Vikas Punna, LakeFusion offers a platform that unifies, governs, and operationalizes master data within the Databricks lakehouse, employing advanced AI techniques to streamline data management processes.
