What upgrades will the next Galaxy Ring offer?

Nearly two years have passed since Samsung introduced its first Galaxy Ring, and speculation about a second-generation model has been rife. Although initially expected in 2025, the Galaxy Ring 2 is now anticipated to debut sometime after early 2027, potentially during the second-half Galaxy Unpacked event that year. The upcoming Galaxy Ring 2 is set to enhance health and fitness tracking accuracy, comfort, and battery life—key features for any smart ring. While the first version offers up to seven days of battery life, the new model could extend this to ten days on a single charge. Additional improvements are expected in skin temperature tracking, sleep analysis, and cardiovascular health monitoring. Looking further ahead, Samsung is exploring the integration of non-invasive blood glucose monitoring into its Galaxy Ring series.
