Is the ‘iPhone Ultra’ set to become the most repairable foldable phone?

Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch the ‘iPhone Ultra,’ which could redefine the standards for repairability in foldable smartphones. The device’s internal design is said to allow for easy disassembly and repair, setting it apart from competitors. This innovative engineering is highlighted by a logical component stacking, eliminating complex ribbon cable routing, and achieving high modularity. The volume buttons have been relocated to the top edge, while Touch ID and Camera Control are positioned on the right side, optimizing internal space. The foldable iPhone is expected to feature a large battery, a 7.8-inch inner display, and a 5.5-inch cover screen. Anticipated to launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro models, the device will reportedly be eSIM-only, priced around $2,000, and available in three storage capacities.
